The National Education Committee held its 12th meeting today.The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the National Education Committee, Prof. Saleeban Ahmed Guleed was discussed several agendas, at the meeting the most important was access to education and how to prevent the children of Somaliland from the obstacles that prevent them from participating in education (Access to education).
During the meeting, the members of the National Education Committee were briefed by the Direct Education Director of MoEs Md. Hussein Abdi Awil (Foodcadde) shared with the members of the Committee the successes achieved in the accessibility of education, the challenges, and how to find solutions.
Finally, the Committee agreed that the first priority should be given to the children of Somaliland to facilitate their participation in education by focusing on the rural areas and strengthening the educational technology programs.
