The National Education Committee held its 10th meeting

The National Education Committee held its 10th meeting. 

The committee meeting was chaired by the chairman of the committee, Prof. Saleeban Ahmed Guleed, from the Office of the National Board of Education in Hargeisa. Mr Ahmed Mohamed Diriye, Minister of Education and Science, and members of the Ministry of education and Science, Directorate attended the meeting.

During the meeting, members of the National Education Committee listened to general reports from some of the directors of education departments and were informed about the revision of the curriculum of primary schools, the use of education data (EMIS data), and the improvement of education monitoring. The agendas of the committee have already discussed how to act.

On the other hand, the directors of the departments presented the challenges that needed to be solved.

While the members of the National Education Committee spoke about the importance of protecting and securing the country's education data, they urged the Ministry of Education to prepare and protect the national education data.

Finally, it was decided to strengthen the monitoring of education and use the information stored in the Ministry of Education's database (EMIS), which will be used by the stakeholders in education to decide on the reports and information from the Ministry of Education. MoE'S JSL Broadcasting Office
