REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICE

The Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) of Somaliland, in collaboration with UNICEF, invites qualified consultants or firms to submit their quotations for the following activities:

1.Revise/Develop CEC Training Manual

Objective: To enhance the Community Education Committee (CEC) training materials, incorporating new approaches for inclusive education and community mobilization strategies.

2. Revise/Develop Teacher Training Modules for Girls and Children with Disabilities (CWD) Education

Objective: To update the current teacher training modules, ensuring they are gender-sensitive and inclusive of CWD education, focusing on best practices for inclusive pedagogy, classroom management, and special needs education.

3. Children with Disabilities (CwD) Education Strategic Roadmap Development

Objective: To develop a comprehensive straategic roadmap for enhancing education access, participation, and outcomes for children with disabilities in Somaliland.

4. GEF Scale-up Strategy Development

Objective: To develop a strategy for scaling up the Girls' Education Fund (GEF) initiative, ensuring its sustainability and expanding its reach across Somaliland.

5. Headteachers Training on Girls and CwD Education

Objective: To train teachers and Headteachers on Girls and Child with Disability education.

 

Scope of Work:

 
  1. Review existing documents and conduct stakeholder consultations.
  2. Revise and develop training manuals and modules.
  3. Draft a strategic roadmap for CWD education.
  4. Create a scale-up strategy for the GEF initiative.
  5. Train teachers and headteachers on Girls and CwD Education

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Proven experience in developing training manuals and strategic roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated expertise in education, gender, and inclusive education.
  • Experience working in Somaliland or similar contexts.
  • Familiarity with UNICEF or other international organizations' guidelines.

 

Submission Requirements:

  1. Quotation including the cost breakdown for each activity.
  2. A detailed technical proposal outlining the methodology, work plan, and team composition.
  3. Company profile or CVs of consultants, highlighting relevant experience.
  4. Copies of registration certificates and other relevant documents.

Deadline for Submission:                                                                      

All quotations and proposals must be submitted by hand with the subject line "RFQ/UNICEF-SOM/MoES/2024 - [Consultant/Firm Name] not later than  26th September,2024
