Number of Somaliland students studying in the universities of the neighbouring country evacuated from their areas due to the conflict in that region. However, we have received an information that some of the students returned to their respect areas in the conflict zone.
Therefore, the MOES would like to inform to concern all students and their parents:
That, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Somaliland would like to inform all students studying in the universities of the Tigray region currently in Somaliland:
Onto return to that universities located in the conflict zone of the neighbour country without the official approval the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Somaliland.
Finally, we would like to inform the parents of these students that the Ministry of Education is not responsible for the safety of their children, if they go back to that conflict region without permission.
