Minister of Education Launches Preliminary Assessment of ECW MYRP Project to Improve Education for Vulnerable Children
The Minister of Education, Pedagogy, and Science, Prof. Ismail Duale Yusuf, has officially launched the preliminary assessment of the ECW MYRP (2025–2027) project in Caynaba, Sarar Region. The initiative, active in Buuhoodle, Gabiley, and Burco, is assessing 60 schools to evaluate current educational conditions, identify needs, and explore opportunities to improve services for vulnerable children. Led by the ministry in partnership with UNICEF and implemented by AET, HOVOYOCO, and SOYVO, the three-year project aims to enhance access to quality, equitable education. The minister highlighted the vital role of collaboration in achieving lasting impact and improving educational outcomes in underserved areas.
