JSL Minister of Education Participates in Consultation Meeting on World Bank-funded Rajo-kaaba Project Funded by World Bank
Hargeisa, Somaliland - The Minister of Education, Nurture and Science of the Republic of Somaliland, Prof. Ismail Duale Yusuf, participated in a consultation meeting to analyze the Rajo-kaaba project. The meeting, held at the Asood Hotel in Hargeisa, focused on how to work together to make the Rajo-kaaba project a success.The meeting was attended by senior officials from various agencies involved in the project, including the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Minister of State for Finance and Economic Development, the Director General of the Ministry of Education, the Director General of the Higher Education Commission, Directors of Departments of the Ministry of Education, some universities, and local organisations interested in education development.
The purpose of this meeting was to share practical suggestions for developing the Rajo-kaaba project, making it fully responsive to the educational needs of the country. It also discussed how to implement this project to make it fruitful.
The Rajo-kaaba project is a comprehensive effort to improve education in Somaliland and will contribute to improving the quality of education and providing equal educational opportunities.
